[Leo had expected the usual, April coming down from her apartment via stairs to meet him and the two would go on their way.
April just bodily throwing herself out of her window makes the turtle double take before he fumbles to open his arms wide.
Unsurprisingly, she crashes into his arms and he wobbles whilst holding her up. Only for Leo to lose his balance and hit the ground. April never touches the ground at least.
He groans a little.]

[Why use stairs when a short cut was better and more convenient? Maybe not for Leo with April's spontaneous nature, but it was always good to keep him on his toes. That is a viable excuse and she will stick to it.
On the plus side he wasn't completely bodied (soft of) or this might have been how he died tonight. SO, this quick witted ninja catching does pay off. There's an amused snort among her laughter.]
Wouldn't have jumped if I wasn't so confident in your skills of catching.
